We are all part of the Unite FCA team of West Cobb County in Georgia. There are three components to our ministry: campus, collegiate, and sport league/club. Get to know who we are, where we serve, and how best you can connect with us!
Marcus Williams
Area Director
Started Serving in 2019
Directing all of West Cobb & serving at North Cobb High School & North Cobb Christian
I accepted Jesus at 16 but had no one teach me what it meant to walk with Jesus. As my journey continued there were significant people who spoke into my life, most of whom were coaches. My college baseball coach was the first person to gift me a bible and it was leather with my name on it. All of these things combined with my love for Jesus led me to lead in this capacity so I could not only lead athletes and coaches to Christ but also lead them to a place or church to help nourish their faith.
Fun fact: In 2017 I got the opportunity to throw a baseball, and run the bases and walk in the corn with my son and daughter on the Field of Dreams in Iowa.

Kristin McLendon
Area Representative
Started Serving in 2019
Serving Hillgrove High School & Lovinggood Middle School
I was not an awesome teenager. It is now an awesome privilege to serve this next generation, share how much Jesus loves them, and has a plan and a purpose for their lives. All things I did not know or have at their age.
Fun Fact: By serving through the ministry of FCA, I get to meet our coaches and athletes right where they are. On their best day, their worst day, and every day in between.

David Como
Area Representative

Serving Kennesaw Mountain & Harrison High Schools
I came on staff in 2023 and have been working on the campus of KMHS and McClure MS. I came on staff with FCA because I love the campus ministry and the ability to present the Gospel message to students.
My favorite fact to share is that our mission base for ministry is over 15,000 students, athletes, coaches and teachers. If we can reach 10% of that group directly with the Gospel through team and campus Huddles, we are affecting the entire mission field of West Cobb County.

Daijah Lane

Serving Allatoona High School
I decided to serve as an FCA Area Representative because I felt called to use my gifts and experiences to impact coaches and athletes for Christ. Sports have always been a big part of my life, and I’ve seen firsthand how they can shape character, teamwork, and leadership. FCA gives me the opportunity to combine my passion for sports with my faith, and to help others grow not only as athletes, but also as people of integrity and followers of Christ.
Fave Fact: I am a WNBA fanatic. Love women's basketball.

Katy Gomez

Serving Marietta High School & ATL FCA Sports
I serve on both on campus ministry and coach with leagues and club teams with FCA Sports. For 3 years my husband and I were doing ministry in my neighborhood, growing my relationship with the Lord, and working odd jobs. My friend Kristin was working with this team and I always found it cool. I decided to apply and the opportunity could not have been at a better time!! God’s timing is the absolute best! He knew where I needed to be and honored my answer to His call!
Fun fact: I am a powerlifter...🤷♀️ 💪

Matt McCaslin

Serving West Cobb and Marietta City through Atlanta FCA Sports
I am an Area Director with Atlanta FCA Sports. I have a passion for young people and for sports. Being both a coach and a former student pastor, you see the ups and downs of the game and the rollercoaster of life - how do we respond to it all? There are a lot of foundational principals to life through sport and a training ground for character and our faith. There are more and more athletes stepping out to use their influence for giving God glory, and to show that our identity isn’t found in just what we do or the sports we play. We’re created on purpose for a purpose and sport is a place to learn about our faith and to also live it out!
Fun Fact: I love to sing and lead worship and I could be a lot better at golf!

Serving West Cobb and Marietta City through Atlanta FCA Sports
I serve in the West Georgia Region concentrating mostly in West Cobb and the City of Marietta. I decided to serve because I was called to do so – I just knew there had to be a better methodology to lift our kids up thru coaching and I found it thru FCA
Fun Fact – I am on a quest to attend every State Park in Georgia and I love to spend time in the woods reflecting on God and his beautiful creation

Serving at Kennesaw State University FCA.
FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) ​seeks to reach athletes and coaches with the ​gospel. At Kennesaw State University, we want to ​see our community engaged, equipped and ​empowered by and through God’s word. Our heart ​is to build a bridge back to the local church as our ​KSU family grows in their walk with the Lord.
